Heavy-Duty Epoxy-Based Control Joint Filler

Product Description

EPOFLEX SL is a self-leveling epoxy jointing compound. This two-part precision controlled, moisture insensitive epoxy resin filler is known for its toughness and impact absorbing qualities. EPOFLEX SL is specifically designed to reduce costly control joint maintenance in industrial floors that are subject to hard wheeled forklift, tow motors and heavy loads.

EPOFLEX SL offers controlled flexibility and is designed to allow minimum deflection so as to protect joint edges from the stress of wheel impact loading and subsequent spalling.

Basic Use: This product has been designed to protect horizontal, non-moving control joints and construction joints. The superior rigidity of EPOFLEX SL prevents normal spalling of unfilled joint edges caused by hard rubber wheeled vehicles, making it a good filler for concrete floors subjected to high volume traffic and heavy wheel loads. EPOFLEX SL is also recommended for joint and crack repairs.

Short Spec:

03251 or 03300: Concrete Floor Joints, Interior: All saw cut, floor joints and construction joints in the interior concrete floor shall be filled with 100% solids epoxy filler. Shore A shall be 85 or above; tensile, 450 psi; color gray. Epoxy filler shall be installed in accordance with recommendations in ACI 302. Joints shall be filled to full depth in two passes.
