His relationship-building talent and strong listening skills have earned him a well-respected reputation within the industry. Greg is used to listening and then responding to the technical and sales needs of his company's customers with innovative solutions. He strongly believes that L&M must constantly keep an open mind to the ever-changing demands and engineering improvements of its products. He has also played an active role in the recent VOC/EPA compliance ruling. Greg is proud that L&M assumed a leadership role in these changes long before they became mandatory.
Larry Schwietz, FCSI, CHEMIST"Founder & Past President Of L&M" E-mail Larry Nearly 40 years ago, Larry started L&M with the vision to create innovative and high-quality concrete treatments and high-performance, non-shrink grouts. He helps us perfect that vision every day. Larry is a man who has a unique talent for solving problems with innovative solutions, while building long-term relationships. Over the years, Larry always built a solid foundation of trust and a high level of technical expertise that customers could always count on. A Salesman by nature but a Chemist by education, Larry spent a lot of time not only in the lab but also in the trenches. He always seemed to bring back plenty of ideas for new products and new solutions for old concrete construction problems. Larry's instinct for solving these problems became more and more fine-tuned and consistently innovative as the years went on. Today, L&M continues Larry's tradition with sons Greg, current President of L&M, and Mark, Regional Sales Manager. Their "in-the-trenches" training has prepared them for another generation of growth. Although enjoying his "active" retirement, Larry still works part-time every day at L&M helping people with his ideas. Larry still believes you should grow one customer at a time, one job at a time. He strongly believes that each and every job or project (small or large) is important to L&M.
